About Me
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Statistical Biophysics, jointly supervised by Ali Hassanali and Alessandro Laio in ICTP (The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics) and SISSA (International School for Advanced Studies), Trieste, Italy. Prior to this, I did the Master of High-Performance Computing (MHPC) program conducted jointly by SISSA and ICTP, also in Trieste, having been awarded a full scholarship by ICTP. I have worked on a wide variety of projects in machine learning, both classical and non-adiabatic molecular dynamics, photochemistry, biophysics, statistical mechanics, nonlinear dynamics, chemical graph theory, using and developing both analytical and computational tools. These days, however, I almost exclusively dabble with our silicon friends.
- 🏢 Current Status: UNESCO Predoctoral Research Fellow at ICTP & PhD Student in Statistical Biophysics at SISSA
- 📘 Research Problems of Interest: Studying interesting behaviour in biomolecules (particularly proteins relevant to neurodegenerative diseases) using (and developing) methods based on classical MD, non-adiabatic MD, unsupervised learning, and machine-learning potentials. For more details, go here.
- ⚽ Hobbies: I enjoy hiking, playing {chess, tennis, and table-tennis}, music, reading non-fiction, and oxford commas.
